Good Morning!

I hope you are enjoying this hot humid weather - looks like it is here to stay for a while! We do have A/C at church - so come out and join us and cool off.

This morning we will be honoring two of our teens who have just graduated from high school. We pray that God will direct their present and their future as they look to HIM! I will be speaking today on the topic "Continuing to Learn." Come find out what I mean - we all need to continue to learn every day that we wake up.

I want to take the time to thank every individual who helped out with our VBS Camp Friendship this weekend - we could not have done it without you!!!!!!! Also, thanks to Missionary Leslie Masters who headed up our Camp Friendship - great job. Leslie is a missionary to the children who live in the Ukraine and will be speaking to us in our 11AM service tomorrow. We will also be honoring our Camp Friendship attendees! Oh - I almost forgot - we will be having lunch in our fellowship hall immediately following our morning service.

If not - all you have to do is ask Him to forgive you of all your sin - believe in your heart that he will do it - and confess it with your mouth! Praise the Lord! We pray that God will give you a hunger for the things of God like never before. We pray that you will desire to serve God will all your heart, soul, mind and strength! Amen. This Sunday, June 15th, we will be honoring all the dads and men of our church - come join us.

I'm glad that you stopped by our website today! Today we will be celebrating Communion. We invite you to come join us at 11AM! This evening at 5PM the Assembly of God churches in our area will be joining with the Church of God in Christ for a special Pentecost Service. The service will be held at Carter Memorial Church of God In Christ, 745 West Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD, Elder Carl A. Pierce, Senior Pastor. The speaker for the night will be Evangelist Joyce Rodgers of Denton, TX, International Youth Chairlady, Church of God In Christ, Inc. and author of the book, "Fatal Distractions." Greetings!

WOW! What a great Pentecost Sunday we had here at Bethel! I believe that many were powerfully changed by the precious Holy Spirit!

This week we will be hearing from Missionary Candidate Mike Tyler who has been called to take the gospel message to Germany. Mike, his wife Cara and sons Caleb and Luke are currently in the process of raising their missionary budget and hopefully will soon be able to leave and fulfill their missionary calling. If you can come and make a pledge to help them it would be greatly appreciated. See you Sunday!

Greetings!

Are you looking forward to EASTER? What is EASTER all about anyway? When asked what EASTER is all about - many people have no clue! Some think it's all about an Easter Bunny hopping down some trail and leaving all kinds of candy for young and old alike. Others think EASTER is a time to dress up - buy a new outfit to wear. Still other's think that it's just another time to eat too much. It's sad - but very few really know the truth about EASTER! EASTER is about a savior named Jesus coming to the world - dying on a cruel cross - being placed in a tomb - and RISING FROM THE DEAD!!!!!!! Because Jesus rose from the dead - we can have forgiveness of sin! Because Jesus arose and is alive right now - when we accept Him (Jesus) into our hearts and ask him to forgive our sin - we will live forever in heaven with him some day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what EASTER is all about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get up early - go to church this coming Sunday!

Don't forget - this coming Sunday we will be joining Shiloh Baptist Church of Edgemere at 6AM for a community "Sunrise Service." At 11AM we will have our regular service at Bethel Assembly of God, 7360 Waldman Ave, Baltimore, MD.

Wow - it's hard to believe that tomorrow is Palm Sunday! This is one of my most favorite times of the year - when we think about Jesus' last days upon the earth and how he gave his life up willingly for all humanity. We give God praise for his wonderful plan of redemption! Thank you God for including us in that wonderful plan! Thank you that we can participate in the plan by inviting you into our hearts and knowing first hand that redemption in our own lives! We love you Lord!

I hope that you are having a great day today! We here at Bethel want to invite you to our service tomorrow morning. We are blessed to have Missionary Ariel Rainey with us - Ariel has been and Assemblies of God missionary for several years now ministering in several different areas of the world. Also, tomorrow is "Girl Scout Sunday" and our local Troop #3916 will be with us - Welcome! Following our morning service we will be joining in lunch together in our fellowship hall - please make plans to be with us!

Oh - one last thing - don't forget to turn your clock ahead 1 hour tonight before you got to bed or you will be late for church tomorrow!
